From Rachel Hong, May 27, 2025:
Dear Craneway Community,
We want to share an important update regarding the ongoing closure of the Craneway.
As many of you are aware, we are currently engaged in a legal dispute with our landlord over serious concerns related to their recent actions – including chaining our front door
shut and effectively forcing us to close. We are pursuing all legal avenues to resolve this situation and restore access to the club as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, the closure will remain in effect at least through the remainder of this week. While we are hopeful for a quick resolution, the legal process is ongoing, and we
will do our best to keep you informed as frequently as possible.
We understand how disappointing this is and deeply appreciate your patience, support, and understanding during this time. Our goal remains to protect our club and its community,
and to return as soon as we can. Note that all memberships are suspended in the meantime, so no recuring charges will be made.
Thank you for all your support during these difficult times, and we hope to see you back on the courts as soon as possible.
