The City of Richmond has planned three days of activities in celebration of the 65^th Anniversary of the Richmond-Shimada Friendship. Shimada Mayor Someya will lead a 12-person delegation of Shimada
officials to Richmond from August 18^th through August 21^st. I’ve highlighted a few events that you may consider. Please let me know if you’d like to attend any of the events below.

August 18

• Welcome Reception – Hilltop Courtyard Marriott, 8/18 at 2:30pm
• Welcome Dinner – Hilltop Courtyard Marriott, 8/18 from 5:30 to 8:00pm (RSVP required)

August 19

• Business Networking at East Brother Beer Company, 1001 Canal Blvd on 8/19 from 3:15pm to 5:00pm
• Factory Bar – 8:15pm to 9:45pm

August 20

• Shimada Friendship Park from 9am to 10am
• Community Celebration at The Lot: Downtown Richmond from 5:00pm to 7:00pm
