We want to reduce the Urban Heat Island effect, particularly in low-income communities along I-80, by planting trees that will shade asphalt and concrete, partnering with Rotary Clubs, City staffs and elected officials, and other community groups. We have already
made a presentation to the Community Projects Committee. The presentation will illustrate the need and solutions, asking for help from Richmond Rotarians.

Lunch is $35 or a $10 donation without lunch to Richmond Rotary Club is appreciated. Use the Lunch button on the website (richmondcarotary.org) to pay for lunch or make a donation and fast-track the
check-in process.
