While the Trump Administration shut down the Visitor Center at
Rosie the Riveter WW II Home Front National Historical Park,
Rosie the Riveter Trust celebrated the park’s 25th anniversary last night at the Concord Hilton with the
2025 Rosie Gala that attracted 500 guests and raised significant funding to help support the park and its programs.

One of the Trust’s most effective programs is
Rosie’s Service Corps (RSC), in partnership with the Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park, embodies the values of Service, Connection, and Power. Inspired by Rosie the Riveter’s
“We Can Do It” attitude, RSC engages youth in leadership, career development and community service, as inspiration for what they can do in the future, to enhance their awareness of Richmond’s rich WWII history and to positively contribute to their communities.

The popular “Rosie Roll Call” recognized a dozen actual Rosies ranging in age from 97 to 110. Hattie Pruitt, a welder, lives in Berkeley and at 110, is the oldest known Roise.

Women’s Committee and is a member of the Tradeswomen’s Committee of the North America’s Building Trades Unions, among other roles.
