The Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium is a profound inquiry into a bold vision: to bring forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just human presence on this planet. The aim of the Symposium is not merely to learn more about the world, but to come to grips with the very assumptions that underlie the way we ourselves see the world and our place in it, and with what each of us can do – both individually and cooperatively – to move the world in this new direction. If you are ready to be disturbed, inspired and moved to action, if you are ready to be introduced to a thriving community of like-minded, deeply committed people who are actively engaged in awakening from and changing the dream of our modern industrial culture, we invite you to come to our next Symposium in Richmond: When: Sunday, June 28, 2009 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm Where: Unity Church of Richmond – 351 28th St. (cross street Nevin Av.), Richmond, CA 94804 How to register: by web – www.awakeningthedreamer.org by phone – (510) 234-6580 by email – trish0105@aol.com (preregistration recommended but not required) Cost: $10-$20 donation requested (no one turned away for lack of funds) Refreshments will be served Special guest speaker – Richmond Mayor Gayle McLaughlin Local group such as Urban Tilth, Communities United Restoring Mother Earth and Solar Richmond will also be represented at this Symposium
