You are cordially invited to celebrate and support community arts in Richmond at The Richmond Art Center’s Spring Exhibitions Reception on Friday, May 18, 6-8 PM. Please join us as we honor students featured in the 42nd Annual (!) West Contra Costa Unified School District in our Main Gallery. We also feature 12 local ceramicists of note in our West Gallery, our own RAC Teacher/Artists’ stunning work in our South Gallery, and in our Community Gallery, Art Partners: work from RAC’s Artists in Schools programs, Pro Arts’ West Contra Costa Artists, nad the Bay Area Heart Gallery: A Traveling Photography Exhibition. For this special reception, our featured speakers include Mayor Gayle McLaughlin and Superintendent Bruce Harter.
