June 29th, 9:00 – 2:00 – Washington Elementary School Garden Work Day

Please join the Washington Elementary PTA for some school garden maintenance work at Washington Elementary School, June 29, Sunday, 9:00 to 2:00. The main goal will be to shovel 8 yards of mulch into place. We will place 2 to 3 yards around the kindergarten raised planter beds, and another 2-3 yards on the California native garden beds in the kindergarten yard. The remaining 2 yards will be placed around the fruit trees in the main garden. Help with weeding throughout the week of June 22-June 28 is also needed.
