Friends of the Richmond Greenway ” a new group ” will work with community members, businesses, and the City of Richmond to create a community vision and bring improvements to the Richmond Greenway, now under construction. Neighborhood safety, maintenance, and beautification are among the issues to be addressed by the group.

GREENWAY TOUR AND MEETING

La Hacienda Restaurant, Nevin St.and Harbour Way

We”ll meet at La Hacienda, walk 4 blocks to the Greenway, then tour the Greenway from approximately 6th to 18th streets, and return to La Hacienda for a light breakfast.

The tour will help participants understand the “nuts and bolts” of what is being constructed; including the pathway, irrigation, lighting, and amenities. Michael Glaser, Construction Manager for Phase I of the Greenway, will be present to help answer our questions.
