Mayor and Councilmembers:

As you may have heard, the State Lands Commission unanimously approved the lease of tidelands to Chevron for its long wharf operation without including a condition that Chevron assist in funding the bay trail beyond what it had already committed to do as part of the Community Benefits Agreement. I will have more details concerning this disappointing outcome later today as part of my weekly report. In the meantime, please contact me if you have any questions concerning this matter.
