Arlo literally ate my ballot. He has always had a taste for fine paper, but his usual source is the recycling box.

Possibly all the publicity about the recall got him interested in California politics.

Fortunately, I was able to order a new ballot.

After ruminating and digesting the choices, if Arlo could talk, he would recommend the same thing I recommend — Vote NO on the recall, and do not vote for a replacement.

If the reason for voting NO is not obvious, read the following:

“For the Love of California, don’t sit out this recall election.” “Endorsement: There is absolutely no justification for removing Gavin Newsome. Vote NO on the recall” “California voters should say NO to Newsom recall”
