The celebration continues! Join us Friday, August 14, as Point Richmond Music’s 25th Anniversary Season brings another fantastic evening of free live music to historic downtown Point Richmond.

CBD with Russell, Kaplan, Patrick + Smith
Christopher Smith, Claudia Russell, Bruce Kaplan, and Daniel Patrick — brings together two distinctive Bay Area songwriters in Russell and Smith, whose eclectic originals range from wry and playful to quietly moving. Their songs are carried by rich harmonies
and grounded by the tasteful instrumental support of Kaplan (guitar/mandolin) and Patrick (ukulele bass). With deep roots in Point Richmond, Russell and Kaplan are especially pleased to bring the band home for this summer evening.

Darn Accordions
This wildly entertaining San Francisco band turns the accordion into a rock instrument, blending polka, pop, and comedy with high-energy flair and witty lyrics. Fronted by squeezebox wizard/lead singer Paul Rogers, the band writes many original rock and funk
songs, and also explores eclectic musical genres like ska, country and the prerequisite polkas. The aim is always to entertain, with an emphasis on solid musicianship and an unmistakable sense of humor.
