Unfriendly tides limited today’s Wickie (volunteer) day to just over three hours, but we accomplished a lot after months of agonizing,
we replaced the portion of the Keepers Cottage chimney that blew away in a winter storm. The garden looks better than ever but needed some maintenance. A previous keeper thought stinging nettle would be a good gourmet addition, but we have been trying to get
rid of it for years. It just won’t go away.
We fixed some electrical issues on the boat, painted some window sash, worked on the engines (need a critical part) and cleaned up the
grounds.
All in all, a good day
