The Park is lighting the Craneway Pavilion smokestack with the colors of purple and gold tonight, Wednesday, August 26, 2020 starting at 7:00 PM in honor of women’s right to vote (see press release attached). The Department of Labor is inducting Rosie the Riveters into the Department of Labor Hall of Honor with a virtual celebration and in person event sometime between Sept 1 through Labor Day. Although we were not able to have a Rosie travel to WDC to accept the honor on behalf of all Rosies, the Rosies did send video messages along. The Maritime building is almost finished with a new coat of paint on all four sides!
