In its 11th year, Richmond Councilman Tom Butt has unveiled his 34-page 2012 Year End Review and Prediction and Wishes for 2013.

Yep, that’s not a typo: 34 pages of suggestions from his army of E-FORUM readers coupled with his own observations. He invites people to tell him confidentially what works in the city and what doesn’t. He then offers his take on the matter plus makes predictions and his wishes for the next year.

Not everybody appreciates the councilman’s in-depth reviews, which have contained sharp criticism of the city, public officials and employees over the years.

But kudos to Butt for sticking with it. He knows that sunlight makes the best disinfectant.

And unlike many prognosticators, Butt also makes it easy to look at what he predicted in prior years and make comparisons:
