The following is from Chief Chris Magnus: I wanted to provide you with an update of last week’s Truancy enforcement efforts since this continues to be a major concern of residents and the Police Department. This effort was coordinated by our School Resource Officers assisted by patrol officers assigned primarily to the Day Shift and Late Days teams (special thanks to Officer Robert Gray). Great work that represents even more contacts than the last sweep that was conducted.
