Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Best wishes to all of you in the new year!

Many of you were involved in giving initial input for the City of Richmond’s Pedestrian Plan, attended a workshop, or went on a “walkabout” to help assess conditions for walking safely and conveniently in Richmond. Many of you heard about the planning process but weren’t able to participate. You may know that Richmond had the benefit of some really fine consultants in the Local Government Commission, nationally known “father of walkability” Dan Burden, and Fehr & Peers. These consultants have been working behind the scenes to put your input into a plan that will help guide the future of Richmond Now is the time to see what’s become of the input that was gathered last Spring from community members, advocates, and City staff

PLEASE JOIN US ON JANUARY 20 for a presentation of the DRAFT Plan by the consultants and to give your final input — see details on the attached flyer. This is a truly unique opportunity that will help shape the future of Richmond.

Please share this flyer far and wide. A Spanish version is forthcoming. Best regards, Nancy
