~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Help Richmond Reclaim Its History ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Richmond Museum of History together with the Richmond Chamber and Friends need your help in purchasing a 1944 Ford Open Cab FIRETRUCK
from Spanish Fork, Utah and transporting it back to Richmond, California where it originated. The firetruck was built by the Ford Motor Company for Kaiser at the Richmond Shipyard No.3 and proof of this is still visibly painted on the hood.
Help us reclaim this incredible piece of Richmond’s history!
Our goal is to raise $5,000 for it’s purchase and transport by September 15th.
To make a donation, contact the Richmond Museum of History at (510) 235-7387, or mail in a check (made out to Richmond Museum of History), to P.O. Box 1267, Richmond 94802.
All donations to save the truck are tax deductible. Thank you for your support.
