Dear Andrew,
On behalf of the partners of the Nystrom United Revitalization Effort (NURVE) we are pleased to invite you to the Grand Opening of the Nystrom School Multi-purpose Building that opened with the start of this new school year. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on: Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 2:00pm – 3:30pm Nystrom Elementary School 230 Harbour Way South Richmond, CA 94804
The 13,800 sq. ft. facility located between Harbour Way South and the intersection of South 12th Street and Maine Avenue includes a library, parent/community room, multi-use classroom, computer lab, commercial grade school kitchen and large multi-purpose room complete with a raised performance stage.
Supported by the Measure J Bond program, this new building is an exciting addition to Nystrom School and to the community.
NURVE is a comprehensive revitalization effort that aims to address community needs through programs, services, and greater community participation. The other capital projects in the NURVE initiative include the Maritime Child Development Center, Nystrom Village, MLK Park and Community Center. We look forward to seeing you at the celebration!
