You are Invited to a
Neighborhood Open House
Bay Trail Interpretive Signage Project

The Richmond Redevelopment Agency and the National Park Service are planning interpretive signs about Richmond”s WWII history along the waterfront. We are exploring a variety of themes – from shipyard celebrations to struggles for civil rights. Future stages of this project will interpret historic events in other Richmond neighborhoods. The current project is funded by the California Coastal Conservancy, ABAG Bay Trail Project and the Richmond Redevelopment Agency, City of Richmond Public Art Program.
We invite you to come share your thoughts with the project team, who will present their preliminary designs. Please let us know about important places in your neighborhood that will help tell the story of Richmond”s WWII home front.
