2 of a Kind features prints by artists from the California Society of Printmakers and the NIAD Center for Art and Disabilities.
There will be a live performance at the reception by musician Lisa Sangita Moskow. Sangita is best known for her work with the sarod, a resonant multi-stringed lute from North India, which she will play as a soloist with vocal tonings. Refreshments will be served.
There will also be a special sale of 40% off the remaining framed works from NIAD’s exhibit, Outsider Art: the Creative Necessity, which was at the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art.

NIAD is the National Institute of Art and Disabilities. It provides an art program to adults with disabilities in Contra Costa County. It has a 6,000 square foot studio, a gallery and gift shop. NIAD serves over 60 artists each week.
