Below is a list of candidates who have filed for election as City Council member or mayor as of August 12, 2022. The filing date has been extended to August 17 because one incumbent, Demnlus Johnson, did not file. I am recommending support for the following candidates. You can read about them on their respective websites. They are all respected leaders in Richmond who have served our city well over many years through service on boards and commissions, nonprofit organizations and neighborhood councils.

They all would appreciate donations. The maximum allowable is $2,500, but all donations will be welcome. Their opponents are substantially supported by out-of-town interests who want to control Richmond.
