The Port of Richmond is celebrating Ports Day 2026 at the sanme time it is actively moving to dismantle the historic features of former Shiyard 3 that makes it a visitor destination. Ironically, the location of
the celebration is the Port Office, adjecent to the SS Red Oak Victory, in the rehabilitated historic Riggers Loft building that the City of Richmond and the Port forced out of business as a popular public venue.

Come help me peacably disrupt this “fun-filled day” and educate visitors to Ports Day by picketing the event and handing out flyers. I will provide signs for 10 pickets – or bring your own.
