Proud Of Johnson December 16, 1997 |
WEST COUNTY TIMES Tuesday, December 16,
1997 I think Richmond City Manager Floyd Johnson had a right to select people he felt could do a good job and not those some council members wanted. Those council members are angry because we do not have a push-button city manager. They would prefer a city manager who would say, "How high," if council members asked him to jump. I am proud of Johnson. He proved he is his own man and he will succeed. I am happy to join the recall team of the friendly five Nathaniel Bates, Richard Griffin, Tom Butt, Alex Evans and Donna Powers. Mildred Washington Richmond
