Steve Seskin: Music night on Sunday, March 9th at 4:30 pm
March 3, 2025

Hi everyone,

On Sunday, March 9th  from 4:30 till around 7 pm (and again every month) we will have a community music night. These concerts will take place the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of every month. The format will be 5 invited artists playing in a circle with 15 to 25 other people listening surrounding them. There is no cost for these evenings. They are meant to promote community through music, expose people to local performing artists and mostly to enjoy.

We will provide food, deserts and some light dinner type things in the way of cheese and crackers, bread, a casserole or two etc. The folks attending will bring drinks. The world is pretty crazy right now and I just want the sense of well being that comes from gathering and making music together.

By the way, although there will be an emphasis on singer/songwriters, the musical offerings will be broad and varied including an occasional opera singer, jazz pianists etc.

You are being invited to be one of the attendees. I want to make this as easy as possible to put this together. Here is what I propose. I’m including all the dates through the end of the year. If you’re at all interested in participating please choose a date and a backup date that you’re available. I will play every month with the rest of the lineup announced in a monthly update. You can certainly come to as many as you can make but I need to know so we don’t overbook for the space we have.

Here are the dates -

 Sundays. February 16th, March 9th, April 13th, May 11th, June 8th, July 13th, August 10th, September 14th, October 12th, November 16th, and December 14th.

Note that 3 of these, January, February and November are the 3rd Sunday, all the others are 2nd Sundays.

Thanks!  Steve

PS feel free to suggest anyone you know that might want to perform! Our intention is to keep doing these so I’m wide open to suggestions.

The people playing this coming weekend are Steve Seskin, Bob Hillman, Wendy Beckerman, karen Almquist and Koli Kohler with Bobby Weinapple sitting in on guitar - Rght now, I mainly need to know if you can join us this Sunday, March 9th
