What the City is doing to enforce the lease provisions relating to use of the Craneway remains somewhat of a black hole. The second of two advice letters from the State Lands Commission states, “Our stance remains unchanged.”

Meanwhile, pickleball continues unabated at the Craneway, and no City staff member or City Council member is willing to make any public statement about the situation.
