Friday night

I’m just one big sore spot from my waist up, tonight. The pains don’t even bother to be subtle. I’ll probably be stiff as a penguin for the party tomorrow night.

We got Helen off this morning – A. Susan went to town to give her moral support to face her irate step mother and I (Cinderella) stayed home & washed dishes & mad beds. Helen is issuing invitations for our party plans (out quick) Jan 25 & the men are all air corps. Somehow I can’t get very enthusiastic about Air Corps – but guess I shouldn’t judge them all harshly because one giggles, several are runts & a few are silly. So optimistically forget first, second, & third impressions & hope for a fait sky Jan 25.



Went into town late this afternoon to library got A. Susan a book of poetry on cats & shopped for some Old Spice for Uncle Ed. Joe Greco called while I was out but hasn’t called back – dinner at Ruger tonight – home. Washed my locks & curled them for the morrow – I am ready & willing for a restful night sleep –
