Appendix 5 – “Uncle Arthur” Arthur King (1890-1943)

Graduated from University of Arkansas with a degree in Civil Engineering. Served in France during World War I as an officer in the 14th Engineer Regiment . After the war, he became a doctor of optometry and was practicing that profession in El Paso at the time of his death from a heart attack (Cecilia King Butt, 1990) He never married.
