Wednesday nite —
Am so tired & sleepy am about to drop so will make this only a P.S.
Went to a movie with Mrs. Simmons this afternoon – I went by Uncle Arthur’s office to get a check cashed & say hello ( I slept through breakfast this morning) & he came out & said he wanted no argument & handed me $20 – jut out of the Texas sky & said he wanted me to buy something frivolous with it that I really wanted. I didn’t want to take it because he has already done so much for me & to entertain me – but he said that since he had been so busy since Sun & not had a chance to do anything with me he wanted that to be the entertainment instead. My resistance lowered & I’m still feeling like Lady Astor. Its all in a little nook marked “Open Nov. 13th).
Tonite went to a concert with “Sug” (as in sugar) am enclosing the program so I can grab a few minutes extra sleep by not writing it.
Will write from Los Angeles—
Love,
