Why should I spend a $100 or more to go to this Fundraiser?
Dear Tom,
We are sure that a lot of you are asking yourselves that question. Nowadays, $100 is a lot of money and you want to know that you're spending it wisely. So here are just a few of the many projects that the Richmond Museum Association will spend your ticket money to accomplish:
- Improve the appearance of Red Oak Victory, e.g. painting the stack, masts and ventilator ducts
- Development and launch of a multi-language audio tour of Red Oak Victory
- New scanners for the Richmond Museum of History and Culture to digitize everything in the collection, including 3-D objects.
- Expand the Museum's educational field trip programs: increase tour capacity, replenish activity supplies, and further develop the curriculum
Your ticket gets you dancing to live swing music by Nick Rossi, a great meal from Golden Gate Bistro, and bar service from The Factory Bar. All of this happens less than two weeks from now on Saturday evening, November 9. For more details (including the menu) and to purchase tickets, click the TICKETS button below. And remember, every penny of your purchase goes to help Red Oak Victory and the Richmond Museum of History and Culture with the projects listed above. Both organizations are operated by the Richmond Museum Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation with EIN 94-6095083. |
