This RPA piece touting Measure L is full of lies. Former Police Chief Chris Magnus once said, “ The RPA is the leftist version of Trump.”

The first lie is that the Contra Costa Democratic Party is a Measure L supporter. They are not.

The piece goes on to describe Measure J supporters as including, “former and current public officials who have been endorsed by big polluters like Chevron, who want to continue holding power in Richmond.” My name is listed, but I have never been endorsed by Chevron; in fact, I ran against Chevron’s endorsed candidate in 2014 and prevailed. Neither Ben Therriault nor Don Gosney are former or current public officials. Jeff Ritterman is a former RPA member. I don’t think the former public officials listed have or want to continue holding power.

This is what you get from the RPA. Trump would be proud of them.

At the DPCCC meeting of August 29 NO ACTION was recommend for both Measures L and J.
