Next Club Meeting
Our next meeting will take place at the Richmond Country Club (address below) on Friday, August 18, 12:30pm.
The Hidden Technology of Bowling
Dr Raynato Castro
San Pablo Rotary Club
Tying into the upcoming Barsheep RotaCare Bowl-a-thon, Dr Castro will give a presentation on the hidden technology that shows that bowling is more than just greasy balls and stinky shoes, but actually quite a complex and compelling sport. Join us for this informative meeting before showing off your skills on Saturday!
Lunch is $25 or a $5 donation without lunch to Richmond Rotary Club is appreciated. Use the Lunch button in the upper right corner of the website to pay for lunch and fast-track the check-in process. You can also join the meeting from your phone, tablet, or computer on Facebook. Click on this link to watch the meeting live on Facebook on Friday or watch the recording later.

Rotacare Bowl-a-thon
Saturday, August 19, 2-4pm at Pinole Lanes, 1580 Pinole Valley Road, Pinole, CA, 94564
The rotary clubs of BARSHEEP will compete not just for bragging rights, but to be the club to raise the most funds for Rotacare. This year our goal is $2,000. Each bowler from our club is trying to raise $250 each and we have 4 bowlers. All donations are welcome, but to sponsor a bowler specifically with a donation of $250 would really help us reach our goal!! Reach out to Josh Surowitz to coordinate with the Richmond Rotary Club bowling team.
Join the Richmond Rotary Community Services Team
The Richmond Rotary Community Services Team is ready to launch our 2023-23 service year. Our Team’s first meeting of the year will be on Thursday, September 14. Team meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at 12 noon via Zoom. Would you like to join the “Cool Kids” and be a part of our Team? Reach out to Chair Don Lau or Vice Chair Yenny Garcia if you are interested. This year, Community Service Team members will serve as the liaison/advocate for any group that we provide funding or volunteer support for during the service year. Looking forward to another great year of providing quality community service!
