Today, we filed a request for a writ of mandate from Contra Costa Superior Court to vacate, set aside, and/or rescind the Land Development Agreement (LDA) entered into between the City of Richmond and Terminal One Development LLC on December 29, 2022. Also see “Is Terminal One Terminal?” The basis of the writ demand is that the incompetent and corrupt city attorney had the sales documents executed by the vice-mayor instead of the mayor. The Richmond City Charter required such contracts to be signed by the mayor.
