| According to posts on Facebook, Vice-mayor/Mayor-elect Eduardo Martinez has paid for a private swearing-in ceremony for Cesar Zepeda, Doria Robinson, Soheila Bana and himself at Bridge Storage. The official City Council meeting to conduct the swearing-in remains virtual (Click here). Unfortunately, Eduardo’s event, if attended by four City Council members, would constitute a Brown Act violation. Rumor is that District Attorney Diana Becton, who among other things is charged with enforcing the Brown Act, will be present to swear in one or more City Council members. We’ll see how that goes.
