The Office of the Richmond City Attorney is in the process of investigating a complaint that the mailer shown below violates Richmond’s Fair Elections law by not identifying the sources of funding, not having the required font size, offset box and proper location for the disclosure.

The mailer supports four candidates, including Eduardo Martinez, Cesar Zepeda, Jamin Purcell and Doria Robinson.

In a previous election, a similar mailer, also supporting RPA candidates, was found to be in violation, and a fine was subsequently paid. These people are either not fast learners, or they are serial scofflaws.
