There was much to celebrate this past Saturday. On August 7, the City of Richmond turned 116 years old and The Factory Bar turned one year old. Richmond residents and supporters of The Factory Bar enjoyed a day of great drinks, food from S&K Wings food truck, live music, giveaways and more. I led the bar in a game of Richmond trivia and gave out dozens of Richmond polo shirts, wine glasses, and margarita glasses from Richmond’s centennial celebration in 2005. We wrapped up our round of trivia with a toast to Richmond and the bar, wishing good fortune for both for years to come. Thanks to The Factory Bar for hosting both birthday celebrations and I wish you even more success in your second year of business!
