How does a mayor recover from brutal City Council meetings?
We were supposed to be on break during August and the first half of September, but the City Council majority wanted to flog Point Molate once again, and the city manager and city attorney were desperate to get approval of illegal contracts so they could continue with illegal investigations. So we met on August 25.
While the drama continues unbated in Richmond, I am taking my August break in the soothing Arkansas Ozarks. Thank goodness for virtual City Council meetings.
My nephew, Jackson Butt, who is a musician, roadie and professional fishing guide (Deepwood Adventures) took me to his secret fishing holes on the Kings River. All voluntary catch and release. We scored big with small mouth bass, with a 16-incher being the catch of the day.
