Today, the United States Coast Guard Sector San Francisco command staff visited Richmond, first touring Chevron, and second, receiving a briefing on the Port of Richmond and visiting the Red Oak Victory. Thanks to Port Staff Alan Wolken, Robert Stevens and Lucy Zhou for hosting and providing lunch, and thanks to the RPD Marine Patrol Unit for sharing their capabilities and to the Red Oak Victory volunteers for a great tour of the historic ship. Thanks to my Chief of Staff Vern Whitmore for handling the logistics.
