FREE Special One-Day Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Mattress Drop-off Event in Richmond - Saturday, September 19th
The City Manager’s Office, Economic Development, Environmental and Health Initiatives Division is excited to announce the one-day Household Hazardous Waste collection event this Saturday, September 19th from 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M at the Galileo Club parking lot, 371 South 23rd Street, Richmond. Residents living in Richmond, San Pablo, El Cerrito, Hercules, Pinole, and unincorporated West Contra Costa County (except Kensington) can take advantage of the event to properly dispose of paints, aerosols, electronic waste (e-waste), batteries, and oil for free to keep our communities clean and safe. Mattresses will also be accepted at the event.
