All efforts are on inviting people to register and tune in to watch the Rosie the Riveter Virtual Celebration this Sunday starting at 4:45 pm for sponsor thank you pre-show followed by our show. (See program below with sign on directions).

1. The Park is lighting the Craneway Pavilion smokestack with the colors of purple and gold tonight, Wednesday, August 26, 2020 starting at 7:00 PM in honor of women’s right to vote (see press release attached).
2. The Department of Labor is inducting Rosie the Riveters into the Department of Labor Hall of Honor with a virtual celebration and in person event sometime between Sept 1 through Labor Day. Although we were not able to have a Rosie travel to WDC to accept the honor on behalf of all Rosies, the Rosies did send video messages along.
3. The Maritime building is almost finished with a new coat of paint on all four sides!
