The health directors of six Bay Area counties, including Contra Costa, who have legal authority to impose restrictions, expect to issue more stringent Bay Area-wide COVID-19 related orders sometime today.
Meanwhile, in Richmond, libraries and senior center have been closed. It is likely that tomorrow’s City Council meeting will be held with councilmembers calling in. Details will be forthcoming.
Meal distribution for students at WCCUSD schools has expanded. Meals can be picked up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following locations:
De Anza
Kennedy
Pinole Valley
Richmond
DeJean
Helms
Nystrom
Montalvin
Riverside
Like the summer meal program, all children under 18, regardless of free or reduced priced meal status or the school they attend, are eligible. Families can either drive or walk up to receive meals, but will not be able to eat on either campus. |
