Thank you for joining our community coalition to protect Miller-Knox Regional Shoreline from BNSF Railway's plans to move polluting diesel trains through an immensely popular regional park blocking physical and visual access to the shoreline.
With your help, our momentum is growing. So far, over 700 people have signed the petition to stop BNSF Railway trains from creating safety and environmental hazards in our beloved Shoreline Park.
But we need your support at the Richmond City Council on May 21st. Can you join us at 6:30pm at Richmond City Hall to voice your support for Miller-Knox Park?
Miller-Knox Regional Shoreline is a treasure for all of us who live in Richmond and nearby communities and the most popular local park in West Contra Costa County. The park gives people who do not often have access to clean air and nature -- an easily accessible open space to walk, hike and spend time with community.
We can’t let BNSF railroad our community – join us on May 21st at Richmond City Council and let our leaders know-- we MUST stand up to BNSF and save our park!
Onward,
Hon. George Miller | John Knox | Bruce Beyaert | Community Coalition to Protect Miller Knox Regional Shoreline |
