 
Deep Green is the MCE choice for 100% renewable electricity.
Based on 2016 electricity usage for all MCE member communities, MCE has determined that customers in the City of Richmond have the most Deep Green electricity usage in the entire MCE service area. Richmond is #1 in Deep Green kWhs. Additionally, Richmond has about 35% of all Deep Green electricity usage within MCE's 24 member communities.
Eight MCE member municipalities have already voted to opt up municipal accounts (Corte Madera, Larkspur, Novato, San Rafael, Ross, Marin County, Napa County and El Cerrito). In passing the 2107-18 budget, the Richmond City Council joined those eight other cities in upgrading Richmond’s municipal account to Deep Green.
