Dear Richmond Community Stakeholder,
PLEASE SAVE THE DATE – WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2018
Recent landmark legislation (Assembly Bill 617) fundamentally transforms the State’s approach to addressing local air pollution by refocusing State and local efforts on communities burdened with the most polluted air.
The Bay Area Air District invites you to a forum that will cover:
- Details about the legislation
- The Air District’s early thoughts on implementation
- How we can work together on this exciting new effort
For more information, please review this fact sheet from the California Air Resources Board.
We are starting our community engagement process by reaching out to community groups, local government representatives, health departments, businesses, residents, and others in key communities in the Bay Area. Your expertise and insights about your community are integral in this process.
