The Craneway Crafts Fair features the handmade work of over 180 juried artisans, presenting a remarkable array of holiday gift options for people of all ages, alongside 20 Fair Traders and Non-Profits. Discover uniquely original wearable textiles, a wide range of fashion jewelry, organic body products and artisan chocolates as well as contemporary ceramics, luminous glasswork, photography, painting, and more functional and decorative gifts for the home. Savor delicious food from GDC Kitchen (a minority, woman and veteran- owned catering business), along with wine and beer. Revel in the seven live musical acts over the weekend (!) including the cool and eclectic Destiny Muhammed Jazz Trio, the Sufi Qawwali music of Stephen Kent and Baraka Moon, and the World Harmony Ensemble (a 35 member choir). TRANSPORTATION: The Craneway Pavilion is just 10 minutes by car from Berkeley, and 5 minutes from the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge. It’s easily accessible by public transit via AC Transit and BART with a free shuttle from the Richmond BART station throughout the weekend.
