Richmond Schools Need Writing Coaches
Volunteers are needed to help Richmond middle and high school students become more confident and competent writers and thinkers. By instilling the value of critical thinking and clear communication skills, we are preparing the next generation to succeed in college and beyond.

Our free trainings (available in January) will give you the strategies to work one-on-one or with small groups of students, building caring relationships and providing much needed academic support. Coaching is a wonderful way to engage with young people in our public schools and be an integral part of your community.

Help is needed at Lovonya DeJean Middle School, Richmond High School, or Kennedy High School. With your help in the new year, we can reach even more young people to give them the time and attention they deserve.

Register today to become a volunteer coach and attend an upcoming training:

Or contact Kirsten Cross at kirsten@writercoachconnection.org with any questions you may have.
