ONLY ONE DAY LEFT to apply for up to $2,000 to beautify your neighborhood! #RichmondLoveYourBlock is looking for residents, local organizations, and community members to team up with each other to transform their blocks. Take a look at the grant application on the Love Your Block website (tinyurl.com/RichmondLoveYourBlock) and plan your #RichmondCA neighborhood beautification project now!

Still brainstorming? Here are some ideas YOUR neighbors came up with, and in many cases, brought to life:

• Building community gardens to increase access to healthy food,
• Creating public murals alongside community members to enliven/brighten up the area
• Hosting neighborhood clean ups to discourage littering and illegal dumping
• Planting trees and flowers along streets to make them more inviting and to improve air quality
• And more!

If you were unable to make any grant writing workshops, it's not too late: set up a meeting or phone conference to discuss your project ideas!
