When I got a call from Mario at the Chevron Fire Department at 2:00 AM this morning, my first thought was that it was some kind of emergency. Turned out, however, that my dogs had exited through a gate to my yard that someone had left open and taken a midnight ramble, slipping stealtily through Chevron security and ending up at the Long Wharf, where they were taken into custody by the Fire Department.
I hustled over to pick them up and found them at the Chevron Firehouse No. 60, an impressive facility.
Thanks to Mario, Rob and others at the graveyard shift at Chevron Fire for rounding up my dogs and keeping them safe until I could retrieve them.
