  • We have been getting very favorable media coverage, which is the best kind because it is free, widely distributed and considered more objective than campaign literature. For examples, see:

  • Our first mailer, “We Agree,” was delivered last weekend. The second, "Safer Richmond" is in the mail. Others will follow. We continue to hand out the Tom Butt Post Card.
  • Hundreds of  volunteers have signed up, and those with advanced skills in graphics and databases have been working in our office on critical organizations projects. We did our first canvassing last weekend and will be doing more canvassing and phone banking beginning next week. Contact Alex Knox at  cell 510-231-7514, email tombutt4mayor@intres.com for details.
  • Do you live in El Sobrante or Hilltop? We are looking for generous hosts to open their home for a day (or two) as a base for our canvassing efforts in your neighborhood over the weekends leading up to Nov 4th. If you think you could help us please contact Alex Knox at cell 510-231-7514, email tombutt4mayor@intres.com.
  • Endorsements continue to come in. For an updated list, see http://www.tombutt.com/endorsements.htm.
  • As of the September 30, 2014, reporting period, we have raised $36, 212, but we need more to keep going in the face of the $3 million Chevron is using to promote Nat Bates. To contribute, go to http://www.tombutt.com/contribute.htm.
  • This weekend, I will be at the Home Front Festival on Saturday at Lucretia Edwards Park.
  • Please forward this e-mail to anyone you know that would like to help. They can sign-up HERE
