I received the following on December 16 from City Manager Bill Lindsay:

The long term success of Salute and the other businesses in the Marina Bay area are very important to the City.  While we believe that the Moody Underpass project will be beneficial in the long term for residents and businesses, we do understand that there are negative impacts during the construction phase.  As a result, we are proposing to develop and fund a business assistance program as part of the construction budget for this project, which includes significantly enhanced signage, and have placed this proposal on the City Council agenda for tomorrow evening.  We will continue to make it a high priority to work closely with affected businesses to mitigate impacts.
