Wednesday, July 31, 2013
RICHMOND, Calif. (KGO) -- Chevron has agreed to pay a $190,000 fine for air quality violations.
The Bay Area Air Quality Management District announced the agreement with Chevron to settle infractions at the Richmond refinery.
It covers 19 violations like flaring and releases that occurred from 2010 to 2012. But does not include any from the major explosion and fire last August that shutdown part of the refinery.
